The Lab Advisor QA will be responsible coordinating CQI, EQA and RTCQI activities under the leadership of the Program Manager Lab Quality Systems The Advisor will coordinate quality systems implementation in collaboration with the Technical Lead Lab Systems Strengthening and laboratory mentors The role of the position will be to support the Program Manager Lab Quality Systems in planning, implementation, ongoing monitoring and improvement in Laboratory and Point-of-Care continual quality improvement, ISO accreditation of VL / EID / TB laboratories, EQA / PT for laboratory and POC testing, RTCQI.Īn undergraduate degree in medical laboratory sciences A postgraduate degree in medical laboratory science, Master’s in Public Health, Epidemiology, or any Medical Laboratory Sciences discipline preferred Certified training in medical laboratory quality assurance e.g SLMTA, ISO-15189, Auditing 10 years plus experience in clinical diagnostic testing including 5 years supervisory experience and at least 2-3 years as a Laboratory Quality Mentor or Quality Manager Strong Lab QMS implementation experience a must Experience in mentoring and assessing labs using the WHO SLIPTA Checklist and ISO 15189-based checklists strongly preferred.
